Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026. Last updated: October 20, 2026.

DD Verify is an email verification service operated by Data Dabble, Inc. ("DataDabble", "we", "us"). This policy applies to DD Verify. It explains what we collect when you use DD Verify, why, and what you can do about it. Contact: privacy@datadabble.co.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and a password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we cannot read them.
  • Lists and results you submit: the email addresses you upload or paste, and the verification result for each one (Valid, Invalid, Catch-All or Unknown), plus the file name, upload time and batch ID. Pasted lists are stored the same way as uploaded files but are not shown in File Results. See the Data Retention and Deletion Policy for how long we keep them.
  • Usage information: how many verifications you have run today, your credit balance, and run history shown in File Results.
  • Payment details: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive a customer ID, plan, billing status and the last four digits of the card, never the full card number.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, and error logs needed to keep the service secure and working. We remove email addresses from our application error logs. We also collect website usage information with Google Analytics (see "Analytics" below). Visitors who use the free email check on our articles without signing in are given a temporary anonymous identifier so we can apply the daily limit; we delete it after 3 days of inactivity.

Other people's email addresses

When you submit a list, you are sending us personal data about people who have not dealt with us directly. We use those addresses to run your verification and show you the results. We also use verification results to improve the service, at the domain or aggregate level where possible, for example to learn how a mail domain behaves (such as whether it accepts every address) and which naming patterns it uses. We do not sell the addresses, use them to build a contact database of our own, or market to the people they belong to. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to process the addresses you upload. Business customers can ask us for a Data Processing Addendum.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, with Google Signals turned on, to understand how visitors use DD Verify, such as which pages are viewed. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar browser storage and receives information such as your IP address and device details. Where the law requires consent, such as in the EU and UK, analytics load only after you agree. See the Cookie and Local Storage Notice for details and how to opt out.

How we verify an address

To check an address we look up the domain's mail records and use a verification service that connects to the recipient's mail server to ask whether it accepts that address. The mail servers involved will see the verification server's address and the address being checked.

How we use what we collect

  1. To run verifications and show results, exports and history.
  2. To enforce daily limits and credits.
  3. To sign you in, send confirmation and password-reset emails, and send service and billing notices.
  4. To prevent abuse, keep the service secure, and fix problems.
  5. To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

Who else handles your data

  • Hosting, database and authentication: our cloud hosting and database providers, currently Lovable (hosting) and Supabase (database and authentication).
  • Payments: Stripe.
  • Email delivery: a third-party email service that sends confirmation and password-reset emails.
  • Workspace email and support: Google Workspace.
  • Website analytics: Google Analytics (Google).
  • Verification service: a third-party service that connects to mail servers on our behalf to check addresses.

We share data with these providers only as needed to run the service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

You can view your history in File Results, change your password in Settings, delete your account and its stored data yourself in Settings, and ask us questions or requests at privacy@datadabble.co. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or object to the processing of your personal data. Email privacy@datadabble.co and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest by our database provider, and stored with access controls. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children

DD Verify is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes and contact

We will post changes here and update the date above. For material changes we will also tell account holders by email. Questions: privacy@datadabble.co.
